The past two years have been especially trying for all because of the pandemic which continues to ravage the world. His passage only worsened the already precarious situation of the entire Malagasy population, but especially that of all our little schoolchildren who attend public schools in the rural commune of Behenjy.
Indeed, for this 2020-2021 school year, 2,730 children under 10 have been out of school for several successive months in the rural commune of Behenjy. serving as schools as well as the furniture therein no longer deserve to be qualified as dilapidated, there are no play areas or sports grounds, no libraries, no playground, no extracurricular activities, no school canteen and above all no water or electricity ... Can we imagine such a situation in a public school when we are in the 21st century?
It is in this context that we, the VFF TAMBATRA BEHENJY, want to take our responsibilities and do everything possible to radically change things by eradicating the evil at its source and firmly ensure that this really has repercussions on the individuals concerned. .
Located 40 km south of the capital Antananarivo, the rural commune of Behenjy is considered the gateway to the Vakinankaratra region. It hosts 17 public schools, a number more than insufficient if we consider the fact that the children of the fokotany of Tsinjony, Tsarafara, Antanetybe, Ambohidrano Sud and Ampanataovana still have to travel several kilometers every day to get to the city. We want the 2,730 students enrolled for the 2020-2021 school year and more to have the chance to have a decent future. May all teachers receive the tools and training necessary to proudly fulfill their teaching profession.
Inclusive schools will provide a peaceful environment, arousing the desire to learn in Malagasy children from an early age. Extracurricular activities to improve their academic performance. In addition, many jobs will be created on occasion through the development of the school as a community project. Thus done, we hope to bring a tangible and tangible improvement in the daily life of all disadvantaged families.
Representing a gigantic step towards improving the quality of education within the EPP of the rural commune of Behenjy, we are convinced that if our project comes to fruition, all the children of the region, even in the most remote areas will have all the tools they need to build a fulfilling life and become responsible citizens once they reach adulthood. By carrying out this project, all the necessary conditions will be met to allow our schoolchildren to be successful in their studies, but also to forget their family torments at the school gates; they will finally be able to grow up with peace of mind and learn while having fun.
Estimated at 416,970,000 Ariary including various costs and contingencies, we are still looking for funding. We are thus launching an appeal for donations to our benefactors in order to collect this sum.
